respectme’s Change Maker Series, 'Body Image, Appearance and Bullying'

respectme’s new ‘Change Maker Series’ launches early 2023 with three national conversation webinar events on the theme of ‘Inclusion & Diversity’ spotlighting protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010 and non-protected characteristics. Building on the foundational learning within our Anti-Bullying Learning Academy eLearning, this series will explore the connection between prejudice and bullying, promote diversity and inclusion as a key prevention strategy for bullying and inspire change within children and young people’s settings.

Our first webinar chaired by respectme is titled ‘Body Image, Appearance and Bullying’ and is aimed at all leaders and change makers who work with children and young people who can affect anti-bullying policy and inclusive practices to create positive change within their settings. The event offers the opportunity to learn from relevant youth and partner experts working in the field of body image, appearance and bullying about effective inclusion strategies and practices to make positive change happen. Hear from Youth Champions about what matters to children and young people about body image, appearance and bullying, aswell as what parents and carers have told us.

Find out about tools available to create positive change and in addition our expert panel members will be available to answer questions about body image, appearance and bullying within a Q&A session.
