EDI Community of Practice Supporting Trans Young People

Join us during LGBT History Month for this EDI Community of Practice session in partnership with LGBT Youth Scotland.

The session will help set the scene of what’s going on for Trans young people in Scotland at the moment, some tools that youth workers can use to support them and discussion groups to ask and discuss the questions you may have. We will also cover how you address transphobia when it arises in your settings.

After this session you will;

  • have a better understanding of how the world is for Trans young people just now
  • know where to find tools to aid your practice
  • have some answers to the questions you have about trans-inclusive practice
  • feel more confident dealing with transphobic behaviours.
